How Much Does Social Media Marketing Cost in Dubai in 2025?

If you've asked three different agencies for a quote and got three wildly different numbers, you're not alone. Pricing in Dubai is all over the place. Here's what's actually behind those numbers.

The short answer

Social media marketing in Dubai costs anywhere from AED 2,000 to AED 50,000 per month depending on who you hire and what they actually deliver. That range is almost useless without context. So let's break it down.

Freelancers: AED 1,500–4,000/month

Freelancers are the cheapest option, and sometimes great — but the variability is huge. A good Dubai-based freelance social media manager will charge AED 2,000 to AED 4,000 for full management of one platform. The risks are availability, quality consistency, and what happens when they get busy with another client or go on holiday.

Most freelancers also don't handle paid ads properly. Managing organic posts is different from running Facebook campaigns with proper audience builds, creative testing, and weekly reporting. If you need both, you usually need two people.

Small agencies: AED 5,000–15,000/month

Most boutique agencies in Dubai sit in this range. For AED 5,000 to AED 8,000 you'll typically get content management for one or two platforms, basic graphic design, and monthly reporting. For AED 10,000 to AED 15,000 you start getting paid ad management, proper bilingual content (Arabic and English), and a dedicated account manager.

The main thing to watch for at this tier: who's actually doing the work? Some agencies sell you a senior strategist in the pitch and hand you off to a junior account exec on day one. Ask specifically who will manage your account day-to-day.

Large agencies: AED 15,000–50,000+/month

The big agency model in Dubai can work well for enterprise brands that need brand safety, corporate processes, and a large team across multiple functions. But for most SMEs and growth-stage brands, you're paying a lot for overhead — physical offices in DIFC, large team structures, and account directors who attend meetings but don't write copy or build campaigns.

We've had clients come to us after spending AED 25,000 a month with a large agency and getting 8 Instagram posts and a PDF report. That's not unusual.

What about AI agencies?

This is where pricing shifts significantly. AI-powered agencies use generative tools for video production, image creation, and creative testing — which dramatically reduces production cost without reducing quality. The result is more output for less money.

At Seen Lab, our Growth plan at AED 9,500/month includes 8 AI videos, 20 graphics, full Facebook and Instagram ad management, weekly reports, and unlimited revisions. A traditional agency at that price would give you a fraction of that output.

What's not included in agency fees

Ad spend is always separate. The agency fee covers management, strategy, and creative. Your actual Facebook and Instagram budget is paid directly to Meta and sits outside the retainer. Most agencies recommend a minimum ad spend of AED 3,000 to AED 5,000 per month to get meaningful data.

One-off projects like brand identities, campaign shoots, or website work are also typically quoted separately.

What to ask before signing anything

  • How many pieces of content do I get per month, specifically?
  • Who writes the Arabic copy — a native speaker or a translator?
  • What does the reporting look like — weekly or monthly, and what metrics?
  • Is there a minimum contract length?
  • Who will actually be working on my account day-to-day?
